Session description
How can we evoke emotion through light, atmosphere, and composition?
In this workshop, we’ll explore together the art of setting the tone of a painting, playing with contrasts, and reinventing framing—all to give your artwork a true soul and infuse it with the full power of emotion.
I’ll provide personalized guidance (in oil or acrylic) as you create, with demonstrations throughout the course.
This workshop promises plenty of learning and will help you take a giant leap forward in your future creations...
The workshops at Pourpry Castle include a day of sightseeing during which we’ll take you on a tour of the region’s medieval villages. Minibus transportation and lunch at a high-quality restaurant are included in the stay.
It’s a great opportunity to spark your inspiration and fill your travel journal!

Beginners and experienced players
What’s included?
- Transfers from Toulouse Airport or the train station are included (round-trip).
- Paints, paper, and studio supplies are provided. Canvases, gesso boards, and sketchbooks are available for purchase in “suitcase-sized” formats. Please contact us regarding large formats.
- Full board: breakfast, lunch, dinner, aperitifs, and beverages.
- Art excursion included: a guided tour of a historic village that is a great source of inspiration for painting.
- Unlimited access to the studio, the park, and the pool.
Accommodation options:
Luxury Room
Luxury room, 45 m², high ceilings, curtains, windows facing three directions, view of the horizon, terrace, and pool.
External Internship
Participate in the camp and arrange your own accommodations. Participants in the day camp leave the grounds after classes and do not have access to the pool.
Booking conditions
When making a reservation, a valid credit card is required to confirm your registration for the course.
An initial deposit of 30% will be charged at the time of reservation. You will, of course, receive a confirmation email with a link allowing you to contact us.
You may cancel your reservation free of charge up to 90 days before the course begins, either through the reservation management link or by contacting us directly.
In this case, the deposit paid will be refunded in full, minus any transaction fees.
Starting 90 days before the workshop, this deposit becomes non-refundable.
A second deposit of 30% is then charged 90 days before the start of the workshop.
The balance for your stay is due on the day of your departure; instructor fees are to be paid directly to the instructor.
Finally, upon your departure, you will pay for any purchases made during the course (canvases, supplies available in the locked cabinet).
